I'm Ffion, and I'm a Welsh ambassador at Coleg y Cymoedd! I am studying Level 3 Media Production (Film and TV).
Since I was a young girl, I have loved everything film and tv. When it was time to go to college and think about what I wanted to do in the future I found this great course at Coleg y Cymoedd.
Throughout the two years on this course, I've had an amazing time working on new projects and creating short films. This course has taught me a lot about film and television production and allowed me to explore my creative freedom.
From the first project I did in 2023 to my last project 2025, you can see a big difference in my work.
In the summer of 2024, I and 3 other people on my course competed in the Eisteddfod. We created a document about Tiktok and the effects on young people. We won the first prize!
I've also had work experience over the summer with 'It's My Shout'. That was a great experience, and I gained vital contacts that will be able to help me in my future career. If you are trying to start a career in this industry, gaining experiences such as working with 'It's My Shout' is something you should look into.
Next year I am going to study at Cardiff and Vale College doing the same course but at level 4. I’m hoping to gain further work experience and maybe work in the industry through this opportunity.
