Hello! My name is Shayla, and I'm a student at the University of South Wales, studying law. At the moment I'm the Welsh Language Officer at the Students' Union, and I'm passionate about promoting the Welsh language among students.
In my spare time I enjoy pottery and knitting – it's a great way to relax and experiment with new patterns. My favorite place in Wales is Cardiff Bay; the location is beautiful, and there's plenty to do, from cafés to cultural attractions.
What I love most is spending time with friends, especially when I'm speaking Welsh. We often attend Welsh-language events, supporting the culture and encouraging others to join us.
In the future, I would like to work as a solicitor or barrister. Studying law through the medium of Welsh has enabled me to develop essential skills, and this will certainly be advantageous in my professional career.
