Cardiff Chemistry Conference 2026 on 26 May 2026 at Cardiff University. The conference aims to create a forum for chemistry researchers, whether in universities or industry, to discuss the latest discoveries in the field.
There will be presentations on a variety of chemical topics from early and experienced career researchers including our guest speakers. This is a special opportunity for chemists across Wales and beyond to showcase their research through the medium of Welsh.
Translation
The conference will be held in Welsh and a simultaneous translation service will be available. The conference will also be recorded and broadcast live on the web. All those interested in the chemical sciences are warmly welcome to register for the conference by following the link below.
Call to donate
Papers of any chemical discipline are requested. We welcome submissions from postgraduate students or early career researchers as well as experienced academics.
Presentations should be 10 minutes long and will be followed by 5 minutes of questions from the audience.
Everyone wishing to submit their work at the conference is asked to provide a summary of their presentation (no more than 300 words) by completing the registration form by 24 March 2026.
Poster competition
There is a poster competition for postgraduate students and postdoctoral researchers. Everyone wishing to submit a poster is asked to provide a summary of their poster (no more than 250 words) by completing the registration form by 31 March 2026. We welcome applications to submit a poster and oral presentation.
There will be a prize of £100 for the best poster and a prize of £50 for second place.
