Perthyn is a landmark event, hosted by TV presenter Jason Mohammad mainly for 16-19 year olds, organised in collaboration between the Coleg Cymraeg Cenedlaethol and Coleg Caerdydd and Vale. Cardiff and Vale College is leading work on the Welsh Government's anti-racism programme for the post-16 sector. We extend an open and warm invitation to all Welsh-speaking learners of Black, Asian or Minority Ethnic background.
The event will be led by renowned television presenter Jason Mohammed, and a number of notable Black and Asian speakers will contribute to the event and discussions. Learners who wish to do so, will also have the opportunity to be filmed as part of the day.
The event will be held in the Senedd on 20 March 2023 starting at noon. All those wishing to attend the event will need to register by 15 March.
