Governance

There are five sub-committees to the Board of Directors. Three of them are standing sub-committees which scrutinise various aspects of the Coleg's governance and management, namely the Appointments and Governance Standards Committee, the Audit and Risk Committee and the Finance and General Purposes Committee. The other two sub-committees – the Academic Board and the Post-16 Strategic Board – include representation from the staff and learner communities of the higher education sector and the further education and apprenticeships sector and advise the Coleg on its plans and its activities.
