Audience: Learners of Welsh Second Language Year 10, 11 + 12
The aim of the day is to give learners the opportunity to experience elements of living, working and socialising bilingually, to spark interest in studying Welsh at A Level, to prepare for the next academic year, and to get a taste of studying Welsh at university.
As a celebration of Welsh, the day will include a variety of study sessions, workshops, discussions, stalls, music and a chance to socialise. Contributions will include Doctor Cymraeg; some of the contestants from Y Llais (S4C); actress Isabella Colby Browne; Department of Welsh at Swansea University; and more - including a few surprises! The exact programme will be announced soon.
All activities will be free of charge, and the Coleg Cymraeg Cenedlaethol can also contribute towards the travel costs of schools and individuals to get to Swansea. Everyone will need to bring their own lunch.
