The Coleg Cymraeg published the Guide to Defining Welsh-medium and Bilingual Higher Education Provision in spring 2026 following a detailed process of consultation with the sector and colleagues at Medr. The Guide provides a consistent framework for defining, calculating and reporting on Welsh-medium and bilingual provision across the sector. This workshop is aimed at lecturers and colleagues who plan, deliver or manage Welsh-medium and bilingual higher education provision. It will provide a practical introduction to the Guide, explaining the principles underlying it and how it can be used in different contexts.
